The Suporn Clinic does one thing and has done it for a long time. Dr Suporn Watanyusakul developed his own non-penile inversion vaginoplasty technique around 2000, and the clinic says it has since been used for more than 3,000 clients. Today the surgery is carried out by surgeons he trained, with clinic staff handling travel, accommodation and recovery support.

The Suporn Clinic is a narrow specialist, and that is the point. Its own technique for male-to-female vaginoplasty, a structured booking system, a long required stay in Thailand and a written warranty on revisions show a practice built around one operation rather than a menu of cosmetic extras.
The trade-offs are real. Dr Suporn himself stepped back from full-time surgery from 2017, and the current surgery calendar lists only Dr Chayamote Chayangsu (Dr Bank) and Dr Prae, so patients choosing the clinic for its founder should know he is unlikely to be their surgeon. The clinic is a day facility in Chonburi, about 80 km from Bangkok, and surgery under general anaesthetic takes place at its partner hospital, Samitivej Chonburi, so you are relying on two sites. Neither JCI nor any other accreditation for the clinic is published, prices are given only on request, and dates are released in short booking windows that can fill quickly. Parts of the website are dated, with the news page last updated in 2022.
For patients set on the Suporn technique and willing to commit to a stay of around a month outside Bangkok, it remains one of the most established names in this field.

The clinic does not publish any accreditation of its own. Major surgery takes place at its partner hospital, Samitivej Chonburi, which the clinic describes as HA (Thailand) accredited. We could not confirm the clinic's licence or the partner hospital's current HA status from the issuing bodies, so patients should ask the clinic for both.

If something goes wrong after you fly home
The clinic offers a warranty on its work, with free cosmetic improvement surgery for its own SRS patients requested from nine months after surgery and completed within a one-year window, subject to availability. Email support runs for one year after primary surgery, but once you are home the clinic says treatment of any symptoms is the responsibility of your own doctor.

About Suporn Clinic
The Suporn Clinic is at 938 Sukhumvit Road, Bangplasoi, in Mueang Chonburi, about 80 km south-east of Bangkok. Dr Suporn Watanyusakul trained in general surgery at Chonburi Hospital and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Chulalongkorn University, and has practised at the clinic since 1992. He presented his non-penile inversion technique to the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand in 2002, and by 2017 had performed more than 2,500 primary sex reassignment operations.
Since October 2018 Dr Chayamote Chayangsu (Dr Bank), whom Dr Suporn trained, has taken responsibility for SRS operations using the Suporn technique. The clinic building has a reception, consulting rooms, an operating theatre with recovery rooms and a patient lounge. Operations that need a general anaesthetic take place at Samitivej Chonburi Hospital, about 5 km away, where patients stay in private suites on a floor reserved for the clinic's patients.
