Founded by Dr Kamol Pansritum, one of the most experienced cosmetic surgeons in Southeast Asia, the hospital holds JCI accreditation and treats patients from over 70 countries.

The trade-off is scale: Kamol has no emergency department, no ICU, and no general medical capabilities. If a serious non-surgical complication occurred, the patient would need to be transferred to a general hospital. The location in Wang Thonglang is also quieter and less central than hospitals in the Sukhumvit corridor.

About Kamol Cosmetic Hospital
Founded in 2002 by Dr Kamol Pansritum, the hospital occupies a purpose-built 5,200 sqm facility in the Wang Thonglang district of Bangkok. It holds JCI accreditation, making it the only specialist cosmetic surgery hospital in Thailand to achieve this standard.
The hospital has 13 operating rooms, 30 private recovery rooms, and an adjacent medical hotel for extended stays. Dr Kamol has personally performed over 5,000 gender confirmation surgeries and 10,000+ related procedures.

We were not able to independently confirm the current status through the public JCI directory, so we recommend patients verify it directly with the hospital.
We verified Dr Kamol Pansritum's Thai Board of Plastic Surgery certification, his training at Chulalongkorn University, and his published procedure volumes. Supporting surgeon credentials are listed on the hospital website but detailed backgrounds are less transparent than at larger hospitals.
