Lelux Hospital
A long-running, licensed cosmetic surgery hospital just outside Bangkok, aimed mainly at Thai patients and priced to match
Independently assessed by Bea Siriwat
Last reviewed 12 October 2026 · How we evaluate
Lelux started in 1999 as a small clinic built on the slogan "You don't have to be rich to look beautiful", and became a licensed private hospital in 2011. It is a cosmetic surgery hospital rather than a general one, and sits in Mueang Nonthaburi, the province that borders Bangkok to the north, rather than in central Bangkok.

Our Assessment of Lelux Hospital
Lelux is a dedicated cosmetic surgery hospital with a long local track record and a large team: it lists more than 20 doctors, each with a Thai medical licence number you can check yourself on the Medical Council of Thailand's register. Holding a hospital licence rather than a clinic licence also means it can keep you in overnight.
The trade-offs are real. Lelux holds no international accreditation that we could find, neither JCI nor Thailand's own HA, so its safety systems have not been audited by an outside body. Its website gives no detail on bed numbers, intensive care or emergency transfer arrangements, and several facility images on its current site are computer-generated rather than photographs. Its location in Nonthaburi is also a long way from the hotels most visitors use. Some listed doctors are gynaecologists, ENT surgeons or general doctors rather than plastic surgeons, so check who will actually operate on you.
Lelux suits a price-conscious patient who is comfortable in a locally focused hospital and asks the right questions. Patients who want internationally audited standards should look at Kamol, Yanhee or the large JCI hospitals instead.
Who Lelux Hospital Is Best For
In one sentence, Lelux Hospital is the right choice for price-conscious patients wanting breast, nose or body surgery who accept value tier pricing. The lists below tell you whether that is you.
A strong fit if you
- Price-conscious patients wanting breast, nose, eyelid or body surgery in a hospital setting
- Patients who are happy with a hospital whose main market is Thai rather than international
- Those staying in Nonthaburi or north Bangkok
Look elsewhere if you
- Patients who want JCI or other international accreditation
- Those who want a central Bangkok location close to the BTS and Sukhumvit hotels
- Patients needing gender-affirming surgery, which Lelux does not list
- Anyone who wants detailed published information on beds, ICU and emergency cover before they book

Accreditations, Verified
Lelux holds a Thai hospital licence from the Ministry of Public Health but no international accreditation that we could find. It does not appear as JCI-accredited, and we found no HA Thailand certificate for it.
Thai Hospital Licence
Ministry of Public Health. The hospital publishes its hospital licence number (10202000265) and medical facility licence number (268/2569) on its website. A licence is a legal requirement to operate, not a quality accreditation. We found no JCI accreditation and no HA Thailand certificate for Lelux, and could not retrieve the licence from a public government register.

What Lelux Hospital Costs
Lelux was built on the promise of affordable cosmetic surgery and is aimed mainly at Thai patients, so we place it at the value end of the market. It does not publish prices on its website, so you will need a written quote, and you should ask what it includes: surgeon fee, operating room, anaesthesia, implants, overnight stay and follow-up.

How Lelux Hospital Compares
Lelux is one of several dedicated cosmetic hospitals in the Bangkok area. Here is how it compares with the options international patients most often weigh up.
Lelux Hospital vs Kamol Cosmetic Hospital
Both are dedicated cosmetic hospitals at the value end of the market. Kamol states it holds JCI accreditation and has much stronger gender-affirming expertise and international patient services. Lelux has no international accreditation.

Yanhee is a larger hospital with a strong cosmetic surgery focus and similar pricing, but with broader medical services and more international patient infrastructure than Lelux.

Bumrungrad is a full-service, JCI-accredited international hospital in central Bangkok at a premium price. Lelux costs less but offers far less published detail on safety systems and emergency cover.

Lelux has an English-language website and an international team, but its information for overseas patients is thin compared with the large Bangkok hospitals.

Pre-Arrival Support
The international team helps with appointment scheduling and gives information on expected costs before you decide.
Follow-Up After You Leave
The international team can help coordinate follow-up communication with your doctor after you return home.
If something goes wrong after you fly home
Lelux says its care does not end when you leave the hospital: you receive recovery and medication instructions, and its international team can help coordinate follow-up communication with your doctor after you return home.
As your coordinator we stay in the loop after you land. If a concern comes up we help you reach your surgeon, get records to a local doctor, and understand what the hospital will and will not cover. We tell you this before you book, not after.

About Lelux Hospital
Lelux began in 1999 as Suay Ngam Clinic, focusing first on rhinoplasty and later on breast surgery, and became Lelux Hospital in March 2011. It is run by the Vichachai family, and in August 2022 it marked 20 years in cosmetic surgery.
The hospital publishes its hospital licence number (10202000265) and medical facility licence number (268/2569) on its website. Its procedure list covers breast augmentation and lift, buttock augmentation, liposuction, fat transfer, tummy tuck, rhinoplasty, facelift and brow lift, double eyelid surgery, forehead and chin augmentation, jaw and cheekbone reduction, and intimate surgery. It also lists sleeve gastrectomy. The older international site describes HEPA air filtration and positive-pressure operating rooms.

How We Evaluated Lelux Hospital
Our editorial team independently researched Lelux Hospital. No hospital can pay to be listed here, ranked higher or reviewed favourably. Here is what we assessed. Our checks are desk-based, verified against the issuing bodies' registers and the hospital's own published materials rather than a hospital-arranged visit. Read the full methodology.
We confirmed each accreditation directly with the issuing bodies and against published records, rather than relying on marketing claims, so the badges you see are real.
We checked the qualifications of the clinicians who would treat you and the depth of the specialist teams, technology and inpatient support standing behind them.
We assessed whether there is a genuine international patient service (multilingual staff, visa help and structured coordination) rather than just a translated website.
We looked for documented care plans, follow-up scheduling and clear channels, so you can still reach your care team once you have flown home.
We evaluated whether estimates are itemised and given in writing upfront, covering treatment, stay and follow-up, rather than arriving as one opaque figure.
We reviewed patient reports across multiple independent sources, looking for consistent themes in satisfaction, complaints and treatment outcomes.
How we make money
Hospitals cannot pay for placement, ranking or a favourable review anywhere on this site. We earn a coordination fee from the hospital only when you choose to book through us, and it never changes your price. That conflict is why we publish our evaluation criteria and sources on every profile, and link accreditations to the issuing bodies.
If you believe any information on this profile is inaccurate or outdated, please contact our editorial team and we will check it against the source.
